The Boxing Day Tractor Run 2014

Tractor enthusiasts raised £790 by ploughing their way across the west of Wyre Forest.  The annual Boxing Day Tractor Run, in aid of Kidderminster & District Prostate Cancer Support Group, showcased more than 36 farm vehicles.  Owners of vintage tractors from all over Worcestershire gathered at the Far Forest Society Showground in Callow Hill at 10am,before trundling their way along minor roads to arrive at Dog Lane car park in Bewdley and back again.  Paul Brothwell, chairman of the support group, said “The tractor run has been helping the group raise money for about three or four years now and greatly supports our work.”  The money raised at the tractor run will go towards the group’s appeal of funding a new surgical robot at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
